Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Puzzle progress — which daily puzzles you have solved, your streak, hints used, and solve times. Stored locally on your device.
• Anonymous account — when you first open the app, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous account with a randomly generated guest name. This lets you appear on leaderboards and lets us sync your account if you later sign in.
• Signed-in account (optional) — if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider. Your email is used only to identify your account and is never shared with third parties or used for marketing.
• Display name — either your randomly generated guest name or your account name (editable at any time), shown publicly on puzzle leaderboards alongside your hints-used and solve-time.
• Leaderboard entries — your uid, display name, hints used, and solve time for each daily puzzle, stored in Google Firestore so leaderboards can be shown to other players.

What we do not collect

• Precise location data.
• Contacts, camera, or microphone access.
• Payment or financial information.
• We never sell your personal information.

Advertising

Onedle is free and supported by ads. The mobile apps show ads through Google AdMob; the web version shows ads through Google AdSense. To serve ads, Google may use your device's advertising identifier, cookies or similar storage, and data about your app or browsing activity to measure ad performance and, where you have allowed it, show personalized ads.

On iOS you are asked through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt whether to allow tracking; if you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized. Visitors to the web version in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can review and adjust ad personalization any time at Google My Ad Center, and reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings. Third-party services

We use the following services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase — authentication and the Firestore database behind leaderboards. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob — advertising in the mobile apps. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense — advertising on the web version. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Sign in with Google — governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Sign in with Apple — governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data retention and deletion

Local data is removed when you delete the app. If you're signed in, you can permanently delete your account at any time from Account → Delete Account in the app — see our Delete Account & Data page for details, including what stays behind. Anonymous accounts that remain inactive are periodically purged by Firebase.

Children's privacy

Onedle is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sign-in is entirely optional, and the app is fully playable without creating an account.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
